Remember an assailant may try to get the pepper spray away from you. That is why it is so important to react quickly, reflexively-in an instant to successfully defend yourself. The time you have to recognize an assault and bring the spray to action may be less than a second!

You want/need a very fast natural reaction when the time comes so you react and not have to stop and think about it.

When you are on foot, especially in the dark, in an isolated area carry your pepper spray in your hand ready for use. It is not a bad idea to have pepper sprays in your car, your home, place of work, and of course with you to cover any contingency.

A short burst of pepper spray well aimed in the eyes will allow you up to 15 minutes or more to escape, subdue the assailant, or get help. That is the 15 minute “miracle” cure for the common assault.

Women are particularly vulnerable, especially those who work late at night, those in sales positions, real estate agents, and those who live alone. They in particular need self defense products such as an effective OC pepper spray.
