We have many water ways in this country and do you know what is in them? Most of you would be sickened to know the truth. Our water has gotten so nasty over the years mainly because of us. We refuse to do the simple job of picking up after ourselves and being careful about what we put into the water supply. We have made our country the biggest country, but we have made it one of the dirtiest. Our rivers, streams, lakes and our oceans are so trashy that most of you do not want to go spend time on the beaches.
We have several places to put our trash, but most of the time these might be too full or inconveniently located. Instead of taking their garbage to some other dump, they might leave it on the ground where animals can spread it all over the place. If we were to really look at these places, you will see what is happening to our beaches. If you are going to the local beach, please take a couple of trash bags with you to put your trash in and if the places where you are have no place to put this trash, just take it home with you and put it in your own trash cans.
We have some of our beaches that have been closed to our use because of this very reason. If you feel the same way, you really need to get with the proper officials and try to see if they can do something to clean them up. If they can not do anything about this, then we need to take it upon ourselves to help clean them up. If you could set a side a small amount of you time to go and pick up the trash around the beaches or other waterways where you live, will find that you will feel better about yourself and your community.
We need to try to help our city officials keep up with all of the waste that people are so careless with. You need to try to put a stop to all of this. Our states are working around the clock to try to stay ahead of the problem of cleaning our water at all of the waste plants. In some on them, this problem is almost getting out of hand. If you slow down on the use of your water and stop pouring things down the drains that should not be like chemical products, paint, or other harmful substances, it will help our waste water to not be so contaminated in the first place.
